Banks Closed Georgia Washington - Two Georgia and one Washington banks were closed on Friday. These closing bring the total number of foreclosures in 2011 to 43 by the U.S. authorities.

A subsidiary of blue Ridge Holdings Inc., CertusBank, purchased the two Georgia banks. Blue Ridge is ran by two former bank professionals from Bank of America Corp and Wachovia Corp. These executives are building a regional bank in the Southeast of the United States. It is part of the their plan.
